Building Renovations have Kicked off at Denkai's Grover Location.
Since purchase of our Grover facility in 2008, housing needs for our animal caretakers and farm workers have been largely unmet. Because this facility is so rural, it is imperative that workers live on-site. A 600 square foot house has provided living quarters for up to 8 people at a time on a regular basis.
Renovations have kicked off beginning January 1, 2012 on our 60 year old, sturdy garage building that will convert it into a bunk house and provide needed space for up to 4 on-site workers. This will aid us in providing a higher quality of care and maintenance for the animals, volunteers and visitors that frequent this facility.
