The Denkai Hay Fund 2008!

It is 2008 and we would like to get started on gathering funds to supply the sanctuary with hay. In order to provide hay for our animals for the next 12 months we will need approximately $18,000. If we can raise this top priority need upfront, we will have hay on hand and not struggle month to month to get it here.

Below is our horse tracker, as funds come in we will "fill" him up! Please consider donating to this cause!

Denkai supporter Carrie Holzmeister is selling a line of beauty and skin care products by Arbonne International that is cruelty-free and never made with animal by-products. Every month, she will select one product for which her commission will be directly donated to the sanctuary. 

The product for September and October is the Arbonne Intelligence Hand Cream. This product moisturizes skin and reduces the signs of aging - perfect for skin that has been exposed to the harsh elements of the Colorado plains and mountains.

Honor Our Dear Friend  And Wonderful Horse Molly

One of our long time supporters had taken a picture of Molly on the plains at our old facility. Molly passed away this last week. What a tribute to a wonderful horse it would be to purchase one of her prints. By purchasing a print 30-40% of the proceeds come directly to the sanctuary. This picture can be put on a mug, a postcard, and even can be made into a puzzle! This would make a great gift for your sweetheart that just loves horses!

Denkai Animal Sanctuary has been organized to operate exclusively for charitable, scientific, prevention of cruelty to animals, and educational purposes within the meaning of section 501 (c) 3 of the Internal Revenue Code.

This Sanctuary provides adoption services and a permanent home for close to 90 animals including horses, llamas, pot bellied pigs, goats, sheep, chickens, turkeys, dogs and even a few cats.

We operate through kind volunteers, and in turn give them the opportunity to foster compassion for these abused and neglected animals by helping with their maintenance and rehabilitation. We also work with several local educational establishments and have worked with mentally and physically challenged adults and kids. We believe in helping these animals and giving back to the community.
